John was a very knowledgeable, quick, and saved me many thousands of $. Where other structural contractors quoted me high amounts, John let me know that the issue were mostly look & feel and the structure was not at risk.

He also gave me advice on some moisture issues and his point of view on how best to deal with them (avoiding encapsulation as this can make future problems difficult to see). I don't think he does moisture mitigation, just giving me his advice. Again, there were contractors who were quoting me $4k for encapsulation and related work when just a dehumidifier would do the job.

Overall, I highly recommend reaching out to John. At least have him come by and give a free quote, what's the harm? He could save you $10k or more.
